About
My practice spans both painting and photography, with light playing a central role in each medium. In my paintings, light is not just a visual element—it’s the emotional core. Whether it’s the sharp clarity of sunlight, the softness of atmospheric haze, or the quiet glow of reflected interiors, light shapes the mood and meaning of each piece. I draw inspiration from my immediate surroundings, working from sketches that evolve organically as they’re translated into paint. The subject itself guides my choice of medium—be it oil, acrylic, or watercolour each offering its own language of expression.
In photography, I seek to explore the emotional landscape of the human experience. Themes of nostalgia, memory, and hope often emerge, conveyed through the interplay of intense light and deep shadow. This contrast is key to the narrative, inviting viewers to interpret the symbolism and form their own connections with the image.
There is always more to uncover. My work is driven by curiosity and a constant search for new ideas—each piece a step further into the unknown.
