Artist's Statement

Meg Harris Williams uses drawings of the moving figure, together with landscape images, as the basis for painting and printmaking. Tonal or textural qualities are abstracted from sketches, paintings, and photographs of landscapes and natural forms. Her prints are either etchings, printed by hand in the traditional way, or digital images worked on the computer through merging and layering.
