Artists Statement

 

Mark making, colour, and surface are of fundamental importance. I am a painter and sculptor, and more recently a ceramicist.

My work ranges from complex decorative pieces to more simplified forms. Inspired by the landscape, still life, or the figure. I try to work instinctively, letting the piece drive the way things go.
